Our Story

If it's any indication of his expertise in the field, Jeremy is currently writing his doctoral dissertation on improving the real estate industry, and how to make it better for everyone involved. His path to this point, however, was far from linear. Jeremy dropped out of high school after 9th grade, went to college at 16 and began his mortgage career at 17. While most kids were going to frat parties, he was learning the ins and outs of the mortgage business. He worked in the industry for five years before attending The University of North Texas to study real estate and financial services. Jeremy told the school he wanted to earn his undergraduate and master's degrees in three years. They told him he was crazy. Using his trademark laser focus, he proved them wrong and accomplished his goal.

Like Jeremy, Amber also entered the workforce early and started a career in real estate at 19. She ultimately decided to earn a degree in real estate and headed to UNT—where she met Jeremy. The pair immediately discovered they were a match made in real estate heaven and eventually got married.

Jeremy’s and Amber’s career paths have been filled with challenges and risks—yet with every leap of faith, they have landed on top. Amber fell in love with the analysis side of real estate, and thirteen years ago, decided to start her own appraisal company. Over the years, she has scaled her business into a highly successful operation and established herself as one of the leading experts in Texas, focusing primarily on commercial real estate. In the meantime, Jeremy left a steady, salaried job to work exclusively on commission as a loan officer. During his 22 years in the mortgage and title industry, he established himself as a trusted expert and acquired the majority of his clients through word of mouth, and also started his own mortgage company. Through it all, Jeremy and Amber are also raising three kids—reaching for new heights not just for themselves but for their family.

Though business was great for Jeremy, he gradually started to realize how much analog title processes were slowing everyone down. At the closing table, time was wasted, signatures were missed, and homeowners were frustrated. The traditional closing process was inconvenient and inefficient, and his clients were tired of having to sign hundreds of pages.
